Dubai Duty Free On A Winning Spree: Receives Four Awards at the  World Leadership Congress and Awards Dubai Duty Free’s Executive Vice Chairman and CEO, Colm McLoughlin and Ramesh Cidambi, COO along with Bernard Creed, SVP-Finance and Olympia Pineda, Manager-Corporate Responsibility Department with the four awards received from the World Leadership Congress and Awards.

Dubai Duty Free sure walked away with four awards at the recent World Leadership Congress and Awards held on 3rd October at The Address Boulevard Dubai.

 

The World Leadership Congress is a comprehensive conference covering the most innovative employer experiences in creating, cultivating, growing and maintaining a culture of management and leadership both within and outside of the workplace. The highlight of the event was the recognition and awarding of selected high profile and exceptional organisations and business leaders in various fields in three awarding ceremonies.

 

Dubai Duty Free received the first two awards for “Environmental Leadership Award” and “Best CSR Leadership Award”. These awards recognised the organisation’s significant leadership in creating a better world through responsible business practices and its demonstration of excellent commitment and positive contributions to the environment, communities and to the society as a whole.

 

The third award was the “GCC Best Employer Brand Award” which recognised the valuable contribution and excellence in building the Employer Brand with a distinct identity that is visible through its Human Resources practices, policies and strategies, making Dubai Duty Free one of the most sought after Employers of Choice.

 

While the Dubai Duty Free, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO, Colm McLoughlin was conferred with the “Global Leadership Excellence Award” for his outstanding service to the region’s retail sector for 35 years.

 

Commenting on the recent awards, Mr. McLoughlin said, “We are delighted to receive these awards which are a clear indication of Dubai Duty Free’s commitment in the field of corporate social responsibility which we embrace across the company.  While the employer brand award reflects our commitment and continuous effort to invest in our 6,100 staff by empowering them through a variety of initiatives that provide career opportunities that allow them to reach their full potential.

Dubai Duty Free Senior Vice President - Finance, Bernard Creed, Olympia Pineda, Manager – Corporate Responsibility and Mary Joy Castor, HSE Specialist accepted the four awards on behalf of Colm McLoughlin and Dubai Duty Free.
