The latest Millennium Millionaire draw was conducted by Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of Dubai Duty Free, Salah Tahlak, Executive Vice President – Corporate Services, Nic Bruwer, Executive Vice President – Commercial and Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President – Marketing. The latest Millennium Millionaire draw was conducted by Colm McLoughlin, Executive Vice Chairman and CEO of Dubai Duty Free, Salah Tahlak, Executive Vice President – Corporate Services, Nic Bruwer, Executive Vice President – Commercial and Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President – Marketing.

Two dollar millionaires are about to enjoy the experience of a lifetime as they claim US$1 million from the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire Promotion in Series no. 244 and Series no. 245 respectively which were drawn today in Concourse B, Dubai International Airport.

 

First up was the winner of Millennium Millionaire Series No. 244, Mr. Arjun Harish Nayaka, an Indian national living in Sharjah whose lucky ticket no. 4625 was drawn.

 

Mr. Nayaka who works for WSP Engineering Consultancy in Dubai was thrilled to hear the news of his new-found wealth and commented: “It’s a truly memorable day for me and my family and I can’t wait to share the news with my wife and son who are coming back to Dubai after a short holiday in India. We will be delighted to meet the Dubai Duty Free team who made this happen!”

 

The second lucky dollar millionaire today was Mr. Vijayaram P.K, a forty-six-year-old engineer at Al Futtaim Carillion who won in Series on. 245 with ticket no. 2294.

 

Mr. Vijayaram, an Indian national living in Dubai has been a regular participant of the Millennium Millionaire Promotion and was excited to hear that his perseverance has finally paid off.

 

The Finest Surprise Draw was conducted directly after the Millennium Millionaire and it was third time lucky for Mr. Saadi Al Rais, a UAE National living in Dubai, who had his third win with Dubai Duty Free when his ticket No. 0291 won for him the latest model of an Audi A8L 3.0 in Series no. 1655. Amazingly, Mr. Al Rais previously won a BMW 750Li in Series no. 593 with ticket no. 640 back in 1996 and eight years later, in December 2004, Lady Luck shone down on him once again as he scooped the US$1million Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire prize in Series no. 44 with ticket no. 0657.

 

Commenting on this extraordinary luck, Colm McLoughlin, Dubai Duty Free’s Executive Vice Chairman and CEO said: “Congratulations to Mr. Al Rais on his latest win. I have no doubt that he is a great supporter of DDF and our promotions and look forward to presenting him with the keys to his Audi A8L very soon.”

 

The luckiest UAE National, as Dubai Duty Free calls Mr. Al Rais now, is as of now unaware of his fantastic luck as cannot be contacted for immediate comment.

 

Another winner was announced today in the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Promotion. Ms. Dana Beydoun, a Canadian national living in Dubai will be soon driving in style on her brand new BMW S 1000 RR motorbike , which she won in Series 306 with ticket no. 0731.
