Dubai Duty Free announced the first luxury car winner of the ‘Airshow Finest Surprise’ on the opening day of the Dubai Airshow 2009, held at Dubai Airport Expo. The operation has a total of five luxury cars sharing the limelight with the latest aircraft at the Dubai Airshow and is conducting a daily draw each afternoon.
The first daily draw (Sunday, 15th November) attracted several exhibitors who had purchased tickets for the Day 1 promotion to win a Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe – Arctic Silver in Series 1409. The lucky winner was Mr. Ahmad Farah, a Canadian national, based in Kuwait, whose ticket no. 0472 made him a proud owner of the sporty Porsche.
Mr. Ahmad is the 25th Canadian to have won a car in Dubai Duty Free’s Finest Surprise promotion since its launch in 1989. His ticket was picked up by Sinead El Sibai, Manager – Events, Advertising and Media Relations and Agnes Garma, Manager – Support Operations of Dubai Duty Free.
Tickets for the remaining luxury cars are on sale at Dubai Duty Free counters and in the Dubai Duty Free shop throughout the week long Airshow which comes to an end on Thursday, 19th November. The luxury cars include the Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Lamborghini and Bentley.
