Dubai Duty Free conducted the Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise Promotion draws today at Dubai International Airport and announced the lucky winners of US$1 million and luxury vehicles respectively. Mr. Sony Dominic, who is based in Dubai, has joined the list of Millennium Millionaires as the 39th Indian national with ticket no. 0249 in the 102nd Series.

Mr. Kiechle Joachim, a German national, was announced as the winner of an Aston Martin DB8, Amethyst Red in Series 1403. He purchased his winning ticket no. 0541 on 30 November 2009 when traveling to Dubai from his hometown in Germany. Mr. Joachim cannot be contacted at the moment but will be very surprised to learn about his win.

Another German national, Mr. Peter Jobst is now the proud owner of a Mercedes Benz S 500 in Series 1416 with ticket no. 0660. Mr. Jobst, a financial journalist by profession, is a regular customer of the Finest Surprise Promotion and consistently purchases a ticket before the end of every year. He is very excited about his win and is looking forward to coming to Dubai to receive the prize.

The final winner of the Finest Surprise Promotion is Mr. Christian Onate, a Filipino national, based in Dubai. Mr. Onate’s prize is the latest model of a Harley Davidson VRSCDX – Night Rod Special, which he won with ticket no. 0535. The ticket was his first ever purchase in Dubai Duty Free’s Finest Surprise Promotion and Mr. Onate is extremely excited with the news.

Following the draw, a presentation was made to a previous Millennium Millionaire winner, Mr. Michael Barth, a German national, who flew in from Frankfurt to Dubai with his wife Mrs. Geb Barth to receive the winning cheque for US$1 million, which they won in Series 101 with ticket no. 2051. Another winner to receive his prize was Mr. Ssebugwawo John Mary, an Ugandan national, who won a classy Mercedes Benz S 500 in Series 1414 with ticket no. 0895. Mr. John Mary was delighted to accept the keys for his brand new vehicle.
