| Dubai Duty Free announced the first US$2 million winner in Double Millionaire Promotion |

Saturday, 20th February, 2010 – Dubai Duty Free conducted its first draw of the Double Millionaire Promotion, which offered 5,000 ticket holders the chance to win US$ 2 million. The winner was Fahad Khalil, a Saudi Arabian national based in Jeddah, whose ticket no. 2077 was drawn immediately after the awarding ceremony of the Women’s final at Barclay’s Dubai Tennis Championships 2010. The winning ticket was drawn by the world’s No. 5 and champion of the Dubai Duty Free Women’s Open 2010 Venus Williams accompanied by the Victoria Azarenka (runner-up) along with George Horan, Deputy Managing Director, Dubai Duty Free and Sinead El Sibai, Manager – Events, Advertising & Media Relations, Dubai Duty Free.
Mr. Khalil, a car dealer from Jeddah and a father of ten, is a regular participant in Dubai Duty Free’s promotions commented: “I purchase tickets in all promotions of Dubai Duty Free and never give up hope to get the lucky one. But I still can’t believe it finally happened! I am now looking forward to sharing this great news with my family and friends”.
