| Jaguar XK 5.0 Portfolio Convertible drawn in Dubai Duty Free’s Finest Surprise Promotion |

A sporty Jaguar XK 5.0 Portfolio Convertible MY 2010 in Series 1418 has been drawn today at Dubai Duty Free at Dubai International Airport, Terminal 1. The lucky winner, Mr. Samer Karaman, a British businessman based in Dubai, was overjoyed when he received a once in a life time call notifying him about his win.
A regular participant in Dubai Duty Free’s promotions, Mr. Samer has been buying tickets since 1993. He purchased his winning ticket no. 0571 on his way to Lebanon on 21 January.
“It took a long time before I finally got the first prize and to my great delight the prize was worth the wait!” he commented over the phone. “I love to shop at Dubai Duty Free when I’m traveling and always look forward to buying tickets for the wonderful promotions available there. The brand new Jaguar is a good addition to my collection”.
Two winners were also announced today in the Finest Surprise promotion with each one winning a stylish motorbike.
Mr. Willi Bergmann, a German national, currently based in Muscat, Oman won a Harley Davidson FLSTFB – Fat Boy in Series 160 with ticket no. 0834 and Mr. Ramez Maalouf, a Lebanese national from Beirut won a Harley Davidson VRSCAW – V-Rod in Series 161 with ticket no. 00738.
Following today’s draw the presentation to previous winner was made. Abdul Wajid Irfan, a 15 year old student from Karachi, Pakistan, who won the latest model of a BMW X6 50i Sport in Series 1419, flew in from Karachi to Dubai with his parents to receive the keys for his brand new car.
The draw was conducted by Dubai Duty Free officials headed by Colm McLoughlin, Managing Director, George Horan, Deputy Managing Director and Sinead El Sibai, Manager – Events, Advertising and Media Relations.
