Dubai Duty Free’s first Double Millionaire winner accepts his prize of US$2 million

Dubai Duty Free officials, headed by Managing Director, Colm McLoughlin, presented the US$2 million ceremonial cheque to Mr. Fahad Khalil, the first lucky winner of Dubai Duty Free Double Millionaire Draw at the ceremony which took place today at Dubai Duty Free’s new Head Office and Distribution Centre. Mr. Khalil, a Saudi Arabian national with winning ticket number 2077 in Series 01, was delighted to be the first to have won US$2 million in Dubai Duty Free’s Double Millionaire, a sister promotion to the long running Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise luxury car draws.

Mr. Khalil, a car dealer from Jeddah and a father of ten, is a regular participant in Dubai Duty Free’s promotions commented: “I am excited about my win and will continue to purchase tickets in this promotion in the hope of making it for the second time lucky!”

Also present at today’s ceremony were Salah Tahlak, Director – Corporate Communications and Sinead El Sibai, Manager-Events, Advertising & Media Relations.
